Allan Ament

After successful careers as a criminal defense attorney, higher education administrator and instructor, and day spa ownership, Allan Ament became the caregiver for his wife, Deloris, after she suffered a stroke. is involved in local non-profit organizations. His writing has previously appeared in magazines, academic, professional and literary journals, magazines, and is included in the anthology, Being: What Makes a Man. Living on Whidbey Island, Washington with Deloris and a semi-neurotic cat, Allan spends his spare time writing, walking the beach and being active in local non-profit organizations.
